What Your Budget Can Buy In Ontario Varies Dramatically
These listings show just how dramatically buying power changes depending on where you look in Ontario.
Under $500,000, buyers can still find properties in the province, although location and property type make a huge difference.
Move into the $700,000 to $1-million range and the choices include GTA townhouses, detached homes on larger properties and homes with thousands of square feet of finished living space outside Toronto.
Around $1 million to $2 million, buyers can choose between larger suburban homes, Toronto penthouses and waterfront properties.
And once the budget moves above $2 million, the options range from luxury Toronto condos to waterfront homes and massive country properties, including a 10-acre Clarington estate with more than 6,000 square feet of finished living space.
At more than $5 million, Ontarioโs luxury market includes estates with pools, theatres, gyms and thousands of square feet of living space.
